The Beach Selected as Outstanding Nationwide
for Four Consecutive Years

Come to Songdo Beach on Summer



Songdo Beach was selected as outstanding nationwide for four consecutive years. It will open from July 1 until August 31. It has received excellent recognition nationwide. It is expected that there are a lot of tourists to visit this year. Therefore, the Seo-gu Office offers and establish various attraction facilities and equipment in its surroundings. Various festival and events is being prepared for the safety, order and comfortable to be enjoyed this summer. It will be pleasant, cheerful, nice and safe.
The Seobusan district has previously managed the handicapped by demonstrating the use of swimming equipment such as lifesaving vests, lifeboats, life jackets, tubes and etc. to support the safety of physically challenged people while splashing in the water or swimming in the sea.
In addition, a plan to support tourist information such as recorded foreign language guide, broadcasting, tourists guides is being strengthened. There is a newly put up observatory to watch over the safety of sea bathers. The renovation of the observatory tower and spectacle has changed the view. There are flower boxes plaza and the music fountain. The construction of the space that touches water around the park is completed. Various sightseeing that can offer fun and enjoyment to tourists is being developed. More renovations of Songdo Beach in the future is planned like the fifth floor scale and the making of the ancient turtle island (Gubeokseom) into a seaside leisure sport center.
On the other hand, from that the end of June various festivals and tournaments are going to be held in along Songdo seaside beach such as 700 swimmers from different clubs nationwide will participate, the 2nd Songdo Flipper Swimming Tournament will be held on June 27th. The beach opening ceremony will be on July 1st and on August 4th 7080 concert, August 5th there will be of Jeong Uisong concerts. On August 6th the windsurfing tournament and August 7th, an exhibition in Hyeon-In Plaza.
These various events in Songdo Beach will be enjoyed by many tourists for the entire romantic summer.

Busan National Gudeok Library.



The Busan City National Public Library is located in Seodaesin Dong 3 Ga, Busan City. It was opened in 1978. There are books and non-book collections such as video tapes, DVD and etc. The old and latest intellectual legacy is always based on social information and the first "reading treatment in the corner" had been managed. The health materials book review will be distributed to the local residents in a monthly and weekly period. Reading treatment in the best way to improve the knowledge, provide information and increase the degree of interest towards understanding. On the other hand, for the local residents reading in a daily routine atmosphere is for the sake of life long study.
The library service was implemented by Bumin e-Pyeonhan Sesang Apartment. The small library has 4,165 books and there are 8 kinds of magazines or more cultural lessons annually. Together with the local residents a lifelong study for the village has been managed.
In addition, there is also a support study program for children after school. There are various activity programs related to reading and paper folding in some centers such as Bumin Local Child Center, Haeyong Children District Center, Won Gwang District Center and Gudeok Youth Training Center. The youth training academy is hoped to decrease and treat psychological and emotional problems among the youth. The 21,000 club membership is a thing that Gudeok Library managed by different society groups is a thing that could be proud of.
From 2008-2009 the "friendly library" was selected as excellent for life long learning by the Seo-gu office. And the year 2010 the life long education information center has selected it as outstanding life long learning center.
Every month the volunteers provide various activities, like reading discussion course performances, hearing etc. and “the puppet show”. Twice a month by Raon Jena Reading Life Youth Club holds an efficient debate, watching movies with impression and etc. With the development in the 21st century, Gudeok library, is continuing to offer new information and knowledge for the citizens health and cultural experiences.

Correct Understanding of Stomach Cancer

Recently, there is a story of two stomach cancer patients in the outpatient department. One person was a woman in her fifties, who underwent stomach endoscope test and diagnosed to be in the early stage of stomach cancer three years ago, The patient was hospitalized, operated and removed the stomach cancer tissue through endoscope for about an hour, was hospitalized for four days and because she did not have other illness, she was able to leave the hospital. Nowadays the patient is in good health and the cancer did not relapse.
The other patient was as man in his sixties. He was also having symptoms like dyspepsia for several months and appeared to lose weight. He underwent stomach endoscope recently and was diagnosed that the stomach cancer had progressed and was discovered through the computer that it has move from the abdomen to the liver. This patient is undergoing anti-cancer science treatment now because it is in its fourth stage.
Even the same cancer patients we can understand that there is quite a difference. A patient who underwent examination before the symptoms starts is ahead of time than the second patient who already had symptoms. Its too late if we wait for the symptoms to appear before we undergo stomach endoscopy. So it is advisable to have examination regularly.
The stomach cancer is one that occurs most frequently in our country. There are about 20,000 patients diagnosed every year. This is because the diagnosis of the stomach cancer is undergone from the first stage by the development of endoscopy. Patients who receive treatment have expanded and there was a decrease seen in the mortality rate caused by stomach cancer in around 1992. Or, it is thought that a lot of survival rates is because of the improved method of treatment and operation and also the development of various anti-cancer medicines even for advanced stage cancer.
The stomach cancer is often taken for granted by thinking it is not so serious because of the same symptom's as the pain in the stomach and dyspepsia and the majority of the cases are without special symptoms in the first stage. The art of endoscope excision or the laparoscope is done in case of an initial stomach cancer and about 80% of the stomach cancer patient are found to be healthy through medical examination. It is reported that a complete cure in the gastrectomy and possible 5-year survival rate is up to 90% for early stage, 70-80% for 2nd stage and possible 5 years survival, 15-50% for 3rd stage and 0-10% for 4th stage . We have to know that there is a necessity of an initial diagnosis again.
Spicy and salty foods should be avoided for the prevention of the stomach cancer. It is also important to have initial diagnosis. The Helicobacter Pylori is known to cause stomach ulcer or the duodenal ulcer which is closely related to the occurrence of the stomach cancer besides the dining habit. Chronic gastritis may be inherited where the mucus membranes of the stomach is worn out and the growth of polyps and lessons start to appear which are precursors of stomach cancer. With these appearances it is likely that the patient is six times prone to stomach cancer if the above case is not removed.
It is encouraged by the National Health Insurance to do the stomach endoscopy every other year after the 40 years old for an initial diagnosis of the stomach cancer. You should often undergo regular check up from earlier age and consult a specialist especially if you know that you have the hereditary disease.

The Gudeok Mangkkae Ground Soliddifying

<카부니안은 어떻게 사람을 만들었을까>은 필리핀 옛날 이야기입니다. 필리핀 사람들은 카부니안이 사람을 만들었다고 생각합니다. 피부색이 다른 3명의 사람을 만들었습니다.

필리핀 북쪽에 “이푸가우”라고 불리는 사람들이 살고 있었습니다. 카부니안은 이푸가우 사람들의 신이었습니다. 카부니안은 세상에 사람들이 없는 것이 슬퍼서 사람들을 만들기 위해 풀록 산에 갔습니다. 카부니안은 피부색이 다른 세 종류의 사람을 만들기를 원했습니다. 카부니안은 커다란 바위에 앉아 진흙을 한가득 쥐었습니다. 그 흙으로 사람을 빚었습니다. 첫번째 사람을 다 만들었을 때는 밤이었습니다. 카부니안이 사람을 만들고 있을 때 저녁의 어둠이 피부에 비춰 검은 색이 되었습니다. 그래서 흑인이 만들어졌습니다. 그러고는 날이 어두워 잠을 잤습니다. 다음날 카부니안이 다른 사람을 만들기 위해 일어났을 때에도 날은 여전히 어두웠습니다. 카부니안은 동쪽에서 해가 뜰 때쯤 두 번째 사람을 만들었습니다. 백인이 만들어졌습니다. 카부니안은 약간의 진흙을 쥐고 세번째 사람을 다시 만들었습니다. 정오가 되었을때 다 만들었습니다. 그는 말리기 위해서 햇볕에 내어 놓았습니다. 햇볕에 놓아둔채로 잠이 들어 일어났을 때에는 세 번째 사람은 진흙이 다 말라서 갈색피부의 사람이 되었습니다. 카부니안이 창조한 사람은 인류의 조상이 되었습니다. 첫 번째 사람은 흑인의 조상이 되었습니다. 두 번째 사람은 백인의 조상이 되었습니다. 마지막 사람은 황인의 조상이 되었습니다.
나는 사실 카부니안 이라는 신을 믿지 않지만 흙으로 백인종 황인종 흑인종을 만들 있다는 것이 매우 신기하게 느껴집니다. 나도 저런 능력이 있다면 사람을 만들어 보고 싶습니다. 햇볕에 의해 색상이 만들어져서 한편으로는 웃음이 나옵니다. - 제나이다 -
