A Performance For Prevention Of Child Kidnapping And Sexual Violence
Last July 5th, a puppet show performance organized by Seogu Child care Federation was attended by about 1,200 people in Gudeok Youth Training Center. The performance theme is for the prevention of sexual violence and child kidnapping.
Recently, the targets of rape and kidnapping are the children. The title of the performance was "No, I hate it!" was made to speak to the level of the children and used the plot and characters of the story "Little Red Riding Hood".
The Gudeok Youth Training Center opened for the day's puppet show and through the performance it taught a meaningful time for the children to learn how to protect themselves from the danger of sexual abuse when they are alone and when they encounter strangers in the streets.
After the performance, the children were taught how to use the whistle to drive away and prevent themselves against sexual abusers.
"The puppet show is the chance to learn about the prevention of sexual abuse and violence. Right now, the district is planning various programs to strengthen ourselves against crime and violence", said the Child care Federation Head.
